Baby A's Non Human Friends

The experts suggested introducing a toy/pillow to our child from young so that it could be used as a comfort item in time to come. In the chinese terms, we call it a "chou chou" I don't insist that Baby A uses 1 toy only but she can choose whichever that she wants as her comfort toy. Children always talk about freedom of choice these days, no?

Her choices ....

One of the first toys that she really took an interest to were the bright , cute animal faces on her Tiny Love mobile. I took the pictures of Miss Giraffe, Mr Monkey and Mr Ostrich from her angle and agree that they look pretty cute this way.

When she was 3-4 weeks old, she did not really seem to take an interest in them, but now(5-6 weeks), they can sustain her attention for about 45 minutes or so. She smiles at them the moment she sees them (when she is in a good mood).

I introduced Mr Lion to her today but she did not seem to take an interest in him. I hope she does! Mr Lion seems like a worthy companion to her considering his colours texture and sounds he makes. And of course, considering how much he cost!

Hello Mr Lion
I've got chubby cheeks
just like Mr Lion!

How about something real? Yes, Gigi has since taken a liking for Baby A and I am slowly introducing Baby A to Gigi :) I do think they look pretty cute together!
